Note 2: Daniel CURLING, of Chilton, died 6th March 1745/6 aged 45 years. Also Elizabeth, wife of above, died 31st January 1788 aged 90 years ex MI. Burial 10 Mar 1745/6 ex FMP PR
Cotton gives Daniel's death “at the age of 45 in 1715”. This is clearly wrong as Daniel was born about 1700 and married in 1723. The correct date is 1745.

Personal Notes:
Alexander Curling Lieutenant of his Majesty’s ship Prince George refers to his dear wife Rebecca. No children mentioned WIlliam Curling and Robert Ellis were witnesses. WIll made 1778 Probate 1789.

According to Cotton Alexander had another daughter MAry and two further sons WIlliam and John but we have not confiirmed these.
