Note 1: Charitie Wood widow buried 13 Dec 1628 at St Laurence (confirmed PR). Presumably she moved to Thanet to be near her daughter Elizabeth and her son in law John Curling.

The will establishes that his sister Elizabeth married John Curling of St Laurence. He had two other sisters: Ann married to William Clarke and Jane (spinster?). He had an uncle William Wood married to Jane who had a son William, another uncle Mathew Wood who had a son Christopher.
