Note 2: ex Boyd's Marriage Index year only. DFHS has full date but has mis-transcribed William Solomon Brewer as William Solomon. Mary Langsford, spinster, married William Solomon Brewer, bachelor on 22 May 1814 in Exminster (both were of that parish). The witnesses were Rebecca Crown & Elizabeth Knott. Jill Penrose found this in a book by TL Ormister on FHL Film # 916845.

Note 4: Boyd's Marriage Index has this marriage but specific date not given. Thomas married MARY LANGSFORD 04 February 1823 in Alphington daughter of JOHN and SARAH LANGSFORD. Thomas Brewer, bachelor sojourner & Mary Brewer widow (in fact of Solomon William Brewer) were married 4th February 1823. The witnesses were Elizabeth Venn & Frances Turner (church clerk). Richard Venn was staying with John Brewer in 1851.

Note 5: buried 15 April aged 100 and 1 month buried 15 Apr 1852 aged 100 1 month ex FMP PR because of the calendar change this is correct

Note 6: Thomas died 7/1/1861 (Tom Brewer information). The date of death is exactly as in James’ bible so the Thomas referred to in the bible is James’ brother.
